Executive Director of The Federation of German Consumer Organisations
Klaus Müller is the Executive Director of The Federation of German Consumer Organisations (Verbraucherzentrale Bundesverband e.V. – vzbv) since May 2014.
Müller was the Executive Director of the Consumer Centre of the Federal State North-Rhine Westphalia from 2006 to 2014.
From 1998 to 2000 he was Member of the German Bundestag, Bonn/Berlin.
From 2005 to 2006 he was Member of the Parliament of the Federal State of Schleswig-Holstein, from 2003 to 2005 Minister of Environment, Nature Protection and Agriculture in the Federal State of Schleswig-Holstein, from 2000 to 2003 Minister of Environment, Nature and Forestry in the Federal State of Schleswig-Holstein. 1998 to 2000 he was Member of the German Bundestag, Bonn/Berlin.
Born in 1971 in Wuppertal-Elberfeld, Müller studied Economics at Christian-Albrechts-Universität Kiel.

Ulrike von der Lühe
Ulrike von der Lühe is Executive Director of the Consumer Association of Rhineland-Palatinate. On November 14, 2015 she has been elected vzbv’s Chairwoman of the Board of Governance.
Von der Lühe holds a Degree in Domestic and Nutritional Science from the Justus-Liebig-University, Giessen. She joined the Consumer Association of Rhineland-Palatinate in 1984 as a Manager Food and Nutrition and led this department until 1999. After seven years’ experience as a Deputy Executive Director, Ulrike von der Lühe was elected Executive Director of the Consumer Association of Rhineland-Palatinate in August 2007 and has been in this position since then.
Moreover, von der Lühe is Executive Director of the German Foundation for Consumer Protection (Deutsche Stiftung für Verbraucherschutz) since November 2015, member of the Board of Governance of the European Consumer Center (ZEV) and member of the Advisory Board of the “Zentrum für Schlichtung”.
